It will work the same as far as the cake baking properly, however it may slightly alter the taste. The darker the olive oil, the more noticible the taste will be. You would probably be better off subbing the same amount of melted butter.
No!!! Use margarine. It has 30% of vegetable oil in Country Crock.
would not taste good, better to use butter or margarine.
