well you can but it gives them a weird kind of tasteCan I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil to make brownies?
its going to give them an olive taste, I wouldn't do it personally. They will still be ok to eat, just a hint of olive flavor.
But yes you can use olive oil instead of vegetable oilCan I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil to make brownies?
technically...you can use it, but it alters the flavor negatively...I use olive oil alot but never for baking...it is very distinguishable to me...plus it gets very expensive to bake with...ciao
Make sure its extra lite olive oil. Extra lite does not mean its more healthy, just that the flavor is not as strong. The reason they suggest vegetable oil is because it does not add flavor to your baked goods.
I wouldn't unless you have extra light olive oil. It will say on the bottle whether it's light or not. The lighter, the better. Less olive flavor.
sure...theres a chance that you may taste it a bit but most people's palettes are not sensitive enough to pick it up
Yes, you can! I do all the time. And plus it's heather for you!
