Is it possible to produce glycerine from vegetable oil ?

if so , how ?Is it possible to produce glycerine from vegetable oil ?
Basically, you need to hydrolyze the fatty acids off of the glycerol, as if you are making soap. When you precipitate the soap with salt, the glycerol will remain in the liquid phase. You could then concentrate that by boiling off the water. If you are after pure glycerol, you'll have to do other steps, but I don't know what those are.Is it possible to produce glycerine from vegetable oil ?
Vegetable oils are triglycerides i.e. 3 fatty acids

bound to a glycerol molecule so you aim to sever the bonds so as to get free fatty acids + glycerol.
Just add sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide to the oil. It makes soap and glycerine.
