Putting vegetable oil on my balls?

I've been rubbing my balls with vegetable oil to soften them up and hopefully allow me to grip them better. Question, will the oil harm my glove or will it soften the leather as well?

It should be fine for your glove, but why are you softening the balls?

Yes it will soften it, but not considerably much- at least that's what some of my friends tell me. I think one of my other friends used vinegar, but he sucked so it doesn't matter.

its oil, so yes it will soften the glove.
Definitely, putting oil on the balls is useless, especially since you can't do that before competitive games, itd be ball-tampering. Oil on the glove to soften it up is a good idea, it helps you close it easier. I like to use shaving creme as well.
