Where would waste vegetable oil be in the future? Is waste vegetable oil approved by the congress? Is it Pretty?

Im doing a chemistry project and really need help... thank youWhere would waste vegetable oil be in the future? Is waste vegetable oil approved by the congress? Is it Pretty?
It's definitely not pretty. it's usually very dirty and needs to be filtered before its' next use into an engine for example.

It's already approved by the FDA used in frying various food items such as our patriot fries, fish sticks, fried chicken, and fried donuts.

Using it in a diesel engine is upto the owner of the vehicle, and sometimes it can be used directly if certain modifications are needed to the engine.

Sometimes it should be processed thru the biodiesel method with methanol, and potassium hydroxide, with some heating before being used in a diesel engine.

Scientists who have studied its use in engines have come up with a need for better lubrication for the seals within the engine. biodiesel may cause unwanted long term negative effects such as metallic breakdown inside the engine.

One reason for this is, if there's the slightest amount of high or low pH in the fuel, over long periods, then this can cause metals to become corroded.
